August

This month I returned to React First to refresh and complete my First Aid qualification, a vital certification for anyone working in fitness. It’s a requirement I refresh every three years, ensuring I’m always up to date and ready to respond quickly and confidently if an emergency arises.

Conquering my first Grade 1 scramble - Crib Goch

This month, I completed my first Grade 1 scramble over Crib Goch, a knife-edged arête in Eryri, Snowdonia National Park Wales. The name means "red ridge" in Welsh. The highest point on the arête is 923 metres above sea level.

A Grade 1 scramble involves elements of rock climbing and requires using both your hands and feet for balance and support.

A fantastic day conquering this challenge with friends and the support and supervision of local mountain guide Conor Watt.
