It was a privilege to attend the AAPG meeting for Bladder and Bowel Continence Care and represent MASIC
Accessing continence care is one of the most significant challenges within the wider reality of living with a perineal injury. From lived experience of both bladder and bowel incontinence as a result of birth injury, I know how profoundly it can affect every aspect of daily life—physically, emotionally, and socially. The right support isn’t just important—it’s life-changing.
Thank you to Jodie Gosling MP for the invitation and a meaningful afternoon of discussion on the critical need for improvements in accessing continence care and management.
