SE London Region Masters Competition 2026 - LAC
Looking back at an unforgettable race day at the London Aquatics Centre. Competing at the LAC, a venue where Olympians have raced has been on my bucket list, so achieving a PB in the 800m Freestyle made it even more special.
Swimming the 800m twice and delivering my fastest time in the second swim truly felt like the race of my life. My husband is always my biggest supporter but having my son there too, the first time he’s ever watched me compete meant absolutely everything.
Corno alla Scale - Bolognese Appenines
Preparation for Kilimanjaro continues…
This month we completed a week's hiking in the the Bolognese Apennines finishing with Corno alle Scale - the highest peak at 1,945 meters within the protected Corno alle Scale Regional Park on the border of Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany. This was the highlight walk of our trip and after very mixed weather we were finally rewarded with great views.

As a CIMSPA member I am committed to maintaining my professional status with ongoing training. This webinar highlighted how many people are affected by mental health including the significant numbers waiting to access treatment and the importance of physical activity.
